The USB-Stick

Why must the USB-Stick always being conected to the computer?

The USB-Stick is used as copy protection. It is a dongle. On the other hand, the settings of the start program are stored on it.

A disadvantage is that a free USB port of your computer is required. Possibly an USB hub is needed. It shares an USB port up to 4 for example. Perhaps an opportunity to expand the number of USB ports anyway.

Never unplug the USB stick without deregister it at windows. USB sticks, also called flash drives are handled as removable drives by Windows, they are mounted. Therefore, they ever should be deregistered off by Windows before removing it from the port. You do this best by clicking the remove hardware icon in the taskbar, next to the clock on the right-bottom. A list of mounted removable drives will be shown. Click in the list the USB stick you want to deregister.
